A database driven web application must include the ability to modify and delete listings as well. When you click on an entry, the modification window opens for that entry. This is also where I would click delete if the car sold, and I wished to remove the entry from the database. In our example, I can now change the price to $13,500 and click 'MODIFY'.

That's it! If you can use a web browser, you can maintain this database.

Import data from other sources

You can easily import data from Microsoft Excel, Lotus 123, MS Access, Paradox, Quatro Pro, Lotus Approach, Filemaker Pro, and most other databases. Almost every database and spreadsheet program has the ability to save your data as Comma Delimited or Tab Delimited text. Webdata can automatically import data, convert it to the proper format, and add it to your database. Simply click 'IMPORT DATA' in the maintenance window, enter the file's pathname, and choose comma or tab delimited.

Export to other programs

Just click on 'Export' and you can save your database as a comma or tab delimeted file.

Shopping cart / Electronic Commerce

Webteacher's Webdata makes it easy to link the selected record to any shopping cart or e-Commerce site that accepts link submissions. This means you can subscribe to a service that provide secure, instant credit card transactions, and link to it from your search results.

Multiple user accounts

With version 2.0, you can set up as many user accounts as you wish. Each user can add entries, and delete or modify only the entries they own. All account administration is done with your web browser.

Modify the field list from your web browser

You will choose your fields during installation. If you decide later that you would like to add or delete a field, you need only to click on 'modify fields', and a friendly interface appears for field management.
